Those who bought the Omega vrt330 juicer have many words to describe it--fantastic, wonderful, marvelous--but the best word is "convenient." You want a juicer because your food must be the most nutritious it can be, yes. But you also live a full, busy life and value the quick and easy way of doing chores--even juicing your fresh foods. If it can be done preserving the healthy nutrients, easier is better.
The Omega vrt330 is easy to use, and with its low speed operation, 80 rpm, it is also healthier. High speed juicers such as the very popular 6500-to-12500-rpm Breville BJE510XL heat up the juice which breaks down some of the nutrients and introduce air into the juice which oxidizes out some others. The VERT preserves the nutritional value of the juice, and preserves your ears with its quiet operation.
From top to bottom the Omega vrt330 is convenient. Food feeds itself through the large input port. Even the pulp out-flow port is large, diminishing the chance of plugging up. A handy rake-like tool is included to quickly assist should your pulp be particularly bulky--as sometime happens with pineapple.
Once finished juicing, twist to disassemble, swish to wash the parts. Even tough orange bits come right out of the filter screens with a couple of taps and a bit of running water. Some YouTube videos suggest that is not the case, but many users find cleaning the Omega vrt330 far easier than many others. Start to finish, this juicer can take 1/5th the time of many others.
And when it is just sitting on the cupboard, waiting for the next job, it takes up little space with its vertical design, but it is still short enough to fit easily under an upper cupboard and its pearl white design is elegant enough to want to keep it in sight.
Is this juicer perfect? Of course not. You can defeat this machine. Put in the biggest chunks possible and it may choke up. As with all juicers, you need to cut up the pieces into appropriate sizes and shapes. Fat carrots may fit into the feeder, but a quick vertical cut will keep the diameter of the carrot in line with the size of the masticating auger. Get a jam anyway? Clearing it is as easy as pushing the reverse button.
If it is stringy--as when juicing wheatgrass, celery, kale, or spinach--cut it short. At lengths of an inch or so, this machine purrs. Longer lengths can stop up the filter screen and increase both pulp in the juice and foam on top of it. Those who use a large amount of the pulpier fruits and greens might want to consider the 330HD (heavy duty) model which has an even larger port for pulp. For smoother running, alternate the soft and hard produce.
The vrt330 juicer leave a very dry pulp, giving as much as twice as much juice as others.
Both time and energy are saved with the Omega vrt330 juicer whether you are preparing, juicing, or cleaning up. Spend less on fruits and vegetable, but get more juice. Great design makes this juicer reliable. It is rarely prone to problems, and its 10-year warranty takes the worry out of one that might pop up. Buy the Omega vrt330 and you are not buying just a juicer, you are buying convenience.
